If you have “restaurant explorations” as a new year’s resolution, 2022 will make that goal a slam dunk in Chester County. Ed Williams took the dome off some of the county’s newest dining destinations for Main Line Today.

Eric Yost and Corey Ross of Suburban Brewing Company recently debuted their 322 Taproom in Honey Brook. This 10-barrel brew house with its outdoor patio offers burgers, nachos, egg rolls, and a selection of vegan meals, among other tasty options.

Chef Erin Morrison recently opened Peter Clark Kitchen — named after his father — in West Chester. Its menu offers a selection of savory grab-and-go entrees, soups, salads, and much more. The eatery also offers fine-tuned private dining experiences that are getting rave reviews.

Meanwhile, Issho Sushi and Steakhouse has been impressing with its Asian cuisine offerings in Exton. Its many highlights include sushi, sashimi, soups, and hibachi dinners, along with the delicious fried cheesecake.

Finally, Kieran and Kristie Sheppard Robinson opened R5 Wines in Downingtown and made it into an oenophile’s tasting oasis that showcases their Sonoma-produced label. Best, this retail operation accommodates online ordering.
