Association Director, Pickleball Programming

This position will manage and enhance the pickleball program to develop and grow pickleball in the entire association and engage more membership and participation as a local and regional pickleball destination in the Northeast. He/she will recruit, train, and support assigned staff and volunteers to grow the pickleball program and membership.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; familiarity with pickleball and the ability to teach and share the sport with others; and a minimum of two years of educational or recreational experience with the YMCA or with another organization.

Lifeguard Coordinator

This position will assume a leadership role at the Upper Main Line YMCA, including administrative, programmatic, and delivery of aquatic programs in accordance with YMCA program quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED; prior knowledge and a minimum of two years of experience in aquatics; the ability to hire, train, and supervise aquatic program staff; and the ability to develop and teach aquatic skills.

Program Director, Aquatics

This position will lead the Jennersville YMCA’s aquatics department to achieve high standards of excellence in programming, staff development, and customer service. He/she will lead the aquatics team in providing a safe environment and provide leadership in expanding the Jennersville YMCA’s aquatic programming.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and two or more years of YMCA experience, or related experience within another organization; proven skills in staff leadership and supervision; safety and risk management expertise; and experience with budget management and relationship building.
