The Chester County Food Bank, a county-wide nonprofit based in Exton, mobilizes the community to ensure access to real, healthy food. The Food Bank works with 150-plus agency partners every year to distribute more than three million pounds of food to 10 percent of Chester County’s residents. The organization also provides educational opportunities to engage the community in hands-on learning experiences.

Executive Assistant and Human Resources Coordinator

This position reports to the CEO and fulfills a dual role to support the overall administrative needs of the organization. He/she is responsible for HR generalist functions, including employment, recruitment, employee relations, EEO, Visa processing (H1B), DEI, and engagement. The person will also develop and drive creative HR initiatives and activities; advise company management in HR policy and program matters; and provide support for day-to-day operations, projects, and events.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field; five years of administrative experience at a nonprofit; experience with Raiser’s Edge, SGA, or related software; proficiency with virtual platforms for meetings; excellent computer skills; and the ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
