Downingtown-based Victory Brewing has opened its newest brewpub, in Center City. The new site has a roof deck and outdoor bar that provides excellent views of the Parkway. Michael Klein reported the opening for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The 14,000-square-foot space also has expansive indoor seating on two levels, two indoor bars, and even a gift shop. It boasts 330 seats and a seven beer-barrel (bbl) brewing system, along with a scratch menu featuring highlights such as a delicious chicken pot pie.

Patrons can choose beers from Victory-related brands Southern Tier Brewing, Sixpoint, and Bold Rock Hard Cider, along with spirits from Southern Tier Distilling.

The location was first announced two years ago, but the pandemic slowed its opening, especially in the removing the interior of its prior tenant.

The space previously housed TGI Fridays, which had a swimming pool that had been covered up with flooring more than three decades ago. That pool had to go, as part of several refurbishments to the property.
