In the midst of Eagleview, a mixed-use community of opportunity across 800 acres of land in Exton, there is an extensive network of trails for its 4,000 residents and 6,000 employees.

Hankin Group recently announced its plans to expand the community with a new path set to begin construction later this week.

Since 2013, community members have enjoyed 10 miles of trails among beautiful, landscaped parks.

“This new trail will improve the connectivity of Eagleview’s already extensive pedestrian network linking the commercial and residential communities to Town Center,” said Lance Hillegas, Hankin Group’s Vice President of Design and Sustainable Development.

“The miles of pedestrian trails and sidewalks in Eagleview connect to the surrounding communities, retail/commercial areas, and to the greater trail network in Chester County. Eagleview’s trails connect to Hickory Park athletic fields, Marsh Creek State Park, and Uwchlan and Struble trails.”

Hankin’s urbanism approach and emphasis on sustainability are evident through many of its projects. One of the most anticipated developments for the company is River Station, a transit-oriented community in Downingtown. The property is situated on 68 acres along the Brandywine Creek and will create a link among the Struble Trail, Chester Valley Trail, and East Branch Brandywine Trail.

Eagleview’s first phase of trail expansion is set to be completed by the end of the year and will be open to the public soon thereafter.
