Paloma’s Brings a Taste of Europe to Phoenixville

By

If you want to experience a culinary trip through Europe while staying close to home, Paloma’s Restaurant & Market in downtown Phoenixville is the place to go, reports Vittoria Woodill for CBS Philly.

The restaurant and its associated market offer not only a taste of Europe but also the laid back, community feeling the old continent is well known for.

The European-style market serves scratch-made pastries and fresh coffee. The elegant and warm restaurant provides balance in its modern, exciting fare.

“You go and walk and you peek in this shop and you have a bite at this restaurant and it’s like being away on a trip, somewhere traveling in Europe,” said Amy, who owns the shop with her husband, Fabien.

The pair named the eatery after their adorable pooch. The restaurant’s main goal was to bring a little Je ne sais quoi to the community.

Once the pandemic hit, Paloma’s closed for six months. It has now returned, stronger than ever. Patrons have also been supportive, rewarding the kitchen staff with a special menu order: “Love your food? Buy the kitchen a round of beer.”
