There can be a lot of negativity in our homes these days, even as lockdowns and isolation measures ease. People have been staring at the same four walls for an awfully long time.

Kristin Wistar, of Landenberg, offers a fresh approach, imbuing living spaces with positive energy. Her tactics include interior design and feng shui, writes Steven Hoffman for the Chester County Press.

Her business usually involves “… creating a more sacred space, not in a religious sense but in connecting their heart and their home,” she said. “Whatever you put in your home should support you in a sacred union.”

She uses two trademark concepts to support this philosophy: the “sacred space union method” and the “sacred space yoga method.”

Her husband, Scott, calls her “the oracle.”

“She has all these healing powers,” he said.

In addition to being an interior designer, Wistar is certified in several healing techniques, including feng shui, dowsing, yoga, breathwork, qi gong, and reiki. Other talents include house whispering, space clearing, and meditation.

She has also been trained in Psych-K, emotional freedom technique, neurolinguistic programming, hypnotherapy, and transcendental meditation.

When she’s done restoring peace and balance to a home, clients report feeling “validation and closure.” She describes it as the absence of something invisible, something that the homeowner didn’t quite understand. Its exit, however, brings on positive energy.

“My most important tools are my heart, my intuition, my connection with others, my eye for design, my training, my body, and voice,” she said.
