Check Out Where Chester County Ranks Statewide for the Most Foreclosures in March
Delaware and Chester counties were among the top five counties in Pennsylvania with the most foreclosures per housing unit in March, writes Gabriela Cordero for SoFi.
The Keystone State ranked at No. 17 among the states with the most foreclosures in March. The fifth-most populous state in the country — with 5,693,314 homes — saw 492 go into foreclosure during March. That equals a default-property seizure rate of one in every 11,572 homes.
Delaware County had the second-most foreclosures of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties, placing behind only Luzerne County. Chester County checked in at No. 4.
