Spring has officially arrived.

West Whiteland Township’s Friends of the Parks – a nonprofit that enhances the quality of life for area residents through its programs, projects, and events – ushered in the season with its annual Egg Hunt, enabling the community to get outside and enjoy the fresh air while maintaining social distance.

“West Whiteland Township’s Friends of the Parks thanks everyone who participated in our ‘hybrid’ Egg Hunt this year,” said Pam Gural-Bear, Assistant Township Manager/Human Resources Director for West Whiteland Township. “We had over 120 participants. Families and kids of all ages enjoyed the outdoors and explored our parks as they searched for the golden egg!”

The “eggs” were yard signs with decorated eggs printed on them. Each park – Boot Road Park, Exton Park, Miller Park, and Roscioli Park – had four “eggs,” and one park had an additional golden egg.

As the weather continues to warm up, don’t forget to check out one or more of the township’s 11 beautiful parks.
