Chester County is home to a pair of the 10 Best Golf Courses You Can Play in Pennsylvania, writes Jason Lusk for Golfweek.

Golfweek determines the best courses via a panel of 750 raters, using a 1-10 scale. Among the criteria is the ease with which nonmembers can access tee times.

Inniscrone in Avondale ranked seventh. Inniscrone is a championship course designed by Malvern resident Gil Hanse. This spectacular golf course was originally designed as an upscale, private golf course, but is now open to the public.

Meanwhile, Wyncote in Oxford ranked ninth. The heathlands-style course was designed by Brian Ault. The use of hearty Bentgrass from tees to greens makes for a sturdy, assured playing surface.
