West Chester’s Pillar Real Estate Advisors Awarded for Most Significant Retail Sale, Office Sale, Industrial Sale

For the fourth consecutive year, Pillar Real Estate Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage based in West Chester, has earned the highest of recognition from the Chester County Commercial Industrial Investment Council (CII Council).

The CII Council is a membership organization comprised of more than 200 professionals who are involved in commercial and industrial real estate in Chester County.

Pillar won a trio of awards – for the Most Significant Retail Sale, Most Significant Office Sale, and Most Significant Industrial Sale.

“We at Pillar Real Estate Advisors greatly appreciate this recognition by the Commercial Real Estate Industry and look to continue to perform at the highest level in 2021,” said Pillar’s Eric Kuhn.

The Most Significant Retail Sale Award was given to Andrew Turner for 1311 West Chester Pike in West Chester. The 11,782-square-foot building was sold to a regional granite surface company for $1.1 million.

The Most Significant Office Sale Award was given to Turner, Kuhn, and Andrew Carlino for 535 North Church Street in West Chester. Known as the Hartshorne Mansion, the 20,061-square-foot building on 2.12 acres is highly amenitized and sold to a local investor for $3.9 million. It was renovated in 2018 with high-end conference rooms and kitchenettes. It also has a Fully Approved Land Development Plan for a 17,000-square-foot addition.

The Most Significant Industrial Sale Award was given to Turner, Kuhn, and Carlino for 700 Old Fern Hill Road in West Chester. Formerly a food processing plant, the 134,000-square-foot building on 10 acres sold for $4.6 million to a national self-storage user who will embark on a large renovation to transform it into a high-end self-storage facility.

The CII Council works to promote collaboration, education, and networking among its members and the business communities they serve.
