The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County continues to plummet, although some areas remain more infected than others.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County continues to plummet, although some areas remain more infected than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code for the seven days ending Feb. 10, compared to the infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage rise in Chester County over this period was in ZIP Codes 19520 (Elverson) and 19312 (Berwyn). Both places recorded an increase of five percent to reach 203 and 475 cases, respectively.

Next are ZIP Codes 19087 (Chesterbrook), 19341 (Exton), and 19352 (Lincoln University), each with an increase of four percent.

Meanwhile, some ZIP Codes report substantially less growth than in previous weeks. These include ZIP Codes 19350 (Landenberg), 19301 (Paoli), and 19333 (Devon), where one percent increases were recorded.
