Exton-Based Brumbaugh Wealth Management Announces New Director of Financial Planning

Exton-based Brumbaugh Wealth Management – one of the leading, independent financial services firms in the Delaware Valley – has announced that Christopher J. Martin has joined the firm as Director of Financial Planning.

Martin will be responsible for portfolio management and designing and implementing financial plans for new and existing clients.

He brings with him a wealth of experience, totaling more than 17 years in the financial services industry. He spent the previous six years at Merrill Lynch as both a Financial Advisor and a Registered Client Associate. Prior to Merrill, he was a Financial Advisor at MetLife for 10 years, and he also spent a year as a Long-Term Care Insurance Consultant at The Hartford.

“I am very excited to join Brumbaugh Wealth Management and reconnect with (CEO) Kim (Brumbaugh) and (Chief Investment Officer) Andrew (Storti), who I have known for over 16 years,” said Martin. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in this industry to enhance the client experience and deliver strong, consistent outcomes for our clients. I will continue to build on the strong foundation that Brumbaugh Wealth Management has been delivering for their clients over the past 17 years.”

Martin earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2014 and holds his Series 7, 66, 6, and 63 licenses. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Business with a Financial Services Option.

He currently lives in Phoenixville with his wife, Kathryn, and their three children. He enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, golfing, collecting music, and playing the guitar.
