West Chester-based LifeBrand has brought in former Philadelphia Eagles star Trent Cole for its first brand ambassador as the tech company continues its rapid expansion, writes Michelle Caffrey for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The firm offers a product that uses artificial intelligence to scan social media profiles and flag potential issues, providing individuals with the ability to delete the problematic posts or keep them public.

The company launched the product just five months ago, but has seen its growth explode following the win of a pitch competition, along with an endorsement from Shark Tank celebrity investor Kevin O’Leary.

Now, the startup has several Fortune 500 companies as its customers and is close to signing deals with all four major professional sports leagues. It is now in the process of raising Series A financing that values the company at $100 million.

“It all happened so fast,” said Thomas J. Colaiezzi, founder and CEO of LifeBrand.

The company decided to bring on Cole as a brand ambassador, since its activities are now hitting fever pitch and because of his reputation as a local role model.
