In the last 24 hours, 176 new cases and five deaths were recorded, bringing the county’s totals to 24,261 cases and 590 deaths.

Meanwhile, the state reported 5,338 new cases and 193 more deaths.

Chester County’s 24,261 cases represent 3.1 percent of Pennsylvania’s 794,172 total cases.
