The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry has earned the reputation of being one of the most-effective chambers in all of Pennsylvania.

As such, it is starting the New Year by launching a pair of new initiatives – Members Helping Members and Stand With Our Restaurants – to help local businesses during these difficult times.

Members Helping Members is a scholarship program that helps member businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and the various lockdowns to pay their annual dues.

“Our board created this scholarship fund, so that no member is unable to renew their membership and to help them stay a part of our chamber at this critical time,” said CCCBI President Guy Ciarrocchi.

Through Stand With Our Restaurants, the CCCBI is inviting all restaurants, cafés, caterers, and event venues to join the chamber at no cost for 2021.

“We proudly stand with these businesses and want to provide access to our network, help build alliances and coalitions, and make sure they are able to survive and thrive as we move into the New Year,” said Ciarrocchi. “Our resources are vital to businesses during this time, and restaurants struggling to stay open should not have to choose between a chamber membership and paying the bills.”

The two initiatives exemplify not only the chamber’s generosity, but also its civic leadership. Furthermore, they underscore the chamber’s commitment to and appreciation of local businesses’ role in our economy and quality of life.

“We are actually living by the motto #WeAreAllinThisTogether,” said Ciarrocchi.
