Great Valley High School graduate Kelly Clarke is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at the Malvern-based franchise of Express Employment Professionals, one of the leading staffing agencies in North America that provides employment services and workforce solutions to employers.

Clarke, who began working at age 14 as a cashier and dishwasher at Cupcakes Gourmet in Frazer, earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She credits her colleagues at Express Employment Professionals with having the biggest impact on her career.

“Other than Maria O’Connell, the owner of our business, who changed the trajectory of my career, I am impacted daily by our internal team at Express,” said Clarkes. “Their grit, determination, and commitment is truly inspiring.”

Clarke’s proudest professional achievement is joining the family business in 2016.

“And every day keeps getting better,” she said.

Clarke’s favorite spots in Chester County are Bluebird Distilling in Phoenixville for cocktails, Al Pastor in Eagleview for tacos, and Ron’s Original Bar & Grille in Exton for a burger.
