GWCC Needs Volunteers on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 to Transform Downtown into a Winter Wonderland
’Twas the month before Christmas, and all through the town, the greens needed hanging, so you came around!
The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce needs volunteers for its Annual Hanging of the Greens.
From 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22, volunteers will transform downtown West Chester into a winter wonderland by hanging green pine roping and red velvet bows on all of the storefront doors and windows.
GWCC will be staggering arrival times for safety purposes. Please plan to spend two hours decorating after your arrival time. Masks and/or face coverings are required.
Groups and families are welcome. Volunteers should be in groups of three to five people, so GWCC asks that you volunteer with those in your household or people you feel comfortable working with.
