Check Out Which Local School Districts Are Among the Top 50 with the Best Teachers in Pennsylvania

Chester County is home to three of the Top 50 School Districts with the Best Teachers in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a new analysis from Niche.com.

To determine the rankings for its 2021 Districts with the Best Teachers in Pennsylvania, Niche.com used data from the U.S. Department of Education. It also looked at millions of reviews that were submitted by students and parents to perform a rigorous analysis of key statistics.

Some of the evaluated factors include teacher ratings, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, and student-teacher ratio.

At No. 2 in the state, the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District ranked highest in the Philadelphia region. The district has a student-teacher ratio of 15:1 and an average teacher salary of $89,683.

Great Valley checked in at No. 14. The district has a 14:1 student-teacher ratio and an average teacher salary of $93,707.

Unionville-Chadds Ford placed 28th with a 13:1 student-teacher ratio and an average teacher salary of $84,915.

The Hampton Township School District outside Pittsburgh ranked No. 1.
