Best Local Places to Get Thanksgiving Dinner in Chester County

If the current COVID situation is keeping you at home, social distance with these local restaurants. Eat in and takeout ensures you have a delicious day. These are just a few* of our favorite local places to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Order in and get enough to enjoy for leftovers!

Have Curley’s Que himself cook your Thanksgiving dinner! (Located at 625 New Street in Spring City, 484-369-8888). Order smoked turkey with turkey gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, home-made andouille stuffing (a vegetarian version is available) cranberry relish, and pumpkin pie cheesecake. Plus, order some fabulous appetizers like clam casino, shrimp cocktail, coleslaw, lobster mac and cheese and more! Packages serve 5-10 people, so call for pickup on Wednesday.

Aquilante’s Catering is offering a whole heat and serve dinner, and they will deliver (call to check delivery areas)! Order online here for delivery on November 25. Roasted turkey, Focaccia bread stuffing, buttermilk mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and veggies, plus cranberry sauce, gravy and dinner rolls that are sure to be a treat! Also, for every family dinner package that is ordered, Aquilante’s will donate $10 to the East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Company. Dessert pies- apple, cherry, Shoofly, pecan, blueberry, pumpkin and pecan are from Bird-in-Hand bakery, or try Colleen’s famous Jewish Apple Loaf cakes.

Chefs Matt and Rhiannon Stone of Dragonfly Catering are doing “everything but the turkey.” Food will be packaged for reheat in the oven with instructions. They are cooking up fun sides like whipped potatoes with goat cheese, brioche stuffing with fresh herbs, sweet potato mash with cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar, and smoked gouda and aged cheddar mac n’ cheese. Pickup at the Artisans Exchange in West Chester or picked up on the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving. “In lieu of pies we decided to try and be a little different and do Thanksgiving-inspired cupcakes,” says Chef Matt. For dessert, try their cookie platter or pumpkin pie cupcakes – a spiced cupcake with a pumpkin whipped cream, topped with a cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sugar. Their focus is on bringing the family together for dinner safely and without the stress of preparing a complete unique meal. Uncle B’s (located at 425 Bridge Street in Phoenixville) is offering several options in addition to turkey. Try their house-brined and brown sugar-glazed ham, garlicky pork tenderloin, honey-glazed duck, rosemary garlic and lemon zest-crusted standing rib roast, and smoked herb-brined turkey. In addition to their regular sides that they offer in 1/2 pints, pints and ½ pans, they are offering mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing. The Black Powder Tavern (located at 1164 Valley Forge Road in Wayne, 610-293-9333) is offering two ways to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, in house from 11am to 8pm, or via their Family Take Out specials with delicious appetizers, entrees like short ribs and salmon in addition to roast turkey, and traditional sides.
