More the Merrier When It Comes to Virtual Learning at This Downingtown Woman’s Home
Downingtown resident Lisa McLaughlin has found the perfect balance amidst the challenges of the pandemic by letting all three of her children be together, even during their online lessons, according to a report from 6ABC.
When schools first closed and her two sons, Chase, 9, and Keegan, 6, started logging on for virtual classes at Brandywine Wallace Elementary School, McLaughlin’s 4-year-old daughter, Brooke, wanted to be a part of it.
So, McLaughlin decided to honor her wish and is now allowing her to be in the room with her two brothers during their online classes.
Brooke also gets to fully participate with her siblings, including playing dress up and taking part in recess, which is usually a backyard Wiffle ball game, along with the other boys from the neighborhood.
With all three of her children happy, McLaughlin is crediting all the amazing teachers from Brandywine Wallace for all the support they have been providing.
