While protestors chanted outside Donald Trump’s recent rally in Wildwood, N.J., two friends from Landenberg enjoyed sharing a few beers in the company of the President’s supporters, write Ellie Rushing and Amy Rosenberg for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Jeff Bottari and Scott Wistar, both in their late 50s, took off from work early and drove to the Jersey Shore to be at their first Trump rally.

Once they arrived, they found people crowding in bars, sharing laughs, and buying beers for one another.

“It’s like a brotherhood,” said Bottari. “We’re all in here buying each other beers.”

“It’s not divisive like people try to say,” said Wistar.

While they had tickets for the event, the two men did not want to wait in line. Instead, they wanted to meet other Trump fans and show their support for the President, whom they believe has been the only one to deliver on his campaign promises.

“Trump’s kind of an a–hole, but so is my dad, and he’s the best person in the world,” said Wistar.
