Website Ranks Top 50 Places to Live in Pennsylvania, and None Are in Chester County. Huh?
HomeSnacks – a website that has been professionally ranking cities, neighborhoods, counties, and states across America for more than five years – has just unveiled its list of The 50 Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania for 2020. And not a single one of said places is located in Chester County.
Huh?
The criteria HomeSnacks used to determine the rankings were:
- Median Home Values
- Median Income
- Population Density (the higher, the better)
- Unemployment Rate
- Commute Time
- Crime
- Education Levels
- Health Insurance Coverage
- Poverty Rates
The website’s sources of criteria include census data and FBI crime data.
According to HomeSnacks, the website aims “to deliver bite-sized pieces of infotainment about where you live. We use data, analytics, and a sense of humor to determine quality of life for places across the nation.”
Indeed, you’ll need that sense of humor to believe that no place in Chester County – the healthiest and wealthiest county in Pennsylvania – rates among the best places to live in the Keystone State.
