LPN (Part Time or Full Time)

This position assesses residents of Pocopson Home for pain and administers medications as ordered; provides ongoing assessment of residents; performs all aspects of resident care in an environment optimized for resident safety; and completes written documentation and assessments in a timely, clear, and concise manner.

The ideal candidate will possess an unrestricted LPN license and certificate from an approved LPN program; six months to one year of job-related experience and/or training; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; and the ability to ethically maintain confidential information.

Certified Nurse’s Aide

This position receives daily reports and assignments from the charge nurse; provides total or assisted care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, assistance with meals, and assistance with toileting; and obtains vital signs, weights, and answers call bells.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and valid Nurse Aide Certification; excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and communication skills; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Housekeeper

This position cleans Pocopson Home by cleaning bathrooms and residents’ rooms by sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping every room daily and stripping, waxing, and polishing floors as needed; dusts and cleans all furniture; and washes and cleans windows, door panels, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; strong time management and customer service skills; the ability to handle and resolve recurring problems; the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; and an eye for accuracy and detail.
