Chester County Boasts Seven of the Region’s Best Places to Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree

You won’t have to wander far to cut down your own Christmas tree, as some of the best places for the occasion are right here in Chester County, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.

Clark’s Christmas Tree Farm and Christmas Shop in Cochranville offers a selection of Douglas firs and spruce trees. Marsh Creek Tree Farm in Elverson has Canaan, Douglas, and Frazier firs, along with blue spruces.

Schmidt’s Tree Farm in Landenberg has 30 acres of trees to choose from, while Old Stone Farm in Lewisville offers an extensive collection for just more than two weeks each season, starting from Nov. 29.

Tricolor Tree Farm in West Chester offers a huge selection of trees, from Douglas fir to blue spruce to white pine and hemlock. Meanwhile, Wiggins Christmas Trees, also in West Chester, offers plenty of acres to browse for your perfect tree.

Finally, Yeager’s Farm & Market in Phoenixville has been helping families find their ideal tree for more than two centuries.
