Chester County residents will have a couple of distinct opportunities on the horizon to show just how much they appreciate the military.

Suiting Warriors – a mobile suiting service that provides upscale professional attire, wardrobe consulting, and education to transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses – is bringing its annual SuitUP^ event to the URBN Sourcing Department in the Naval Yard on Dec. 11 from 9 AM-3 PM, by appointment.

The next day – Thursday, Dec. 12 – Suiting Warriors will host its Annual Suiting Warriors Charity Dinner from 6-8 PM at the Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge.

At the Army-Navy Game on Saturday, Dec. 14, Suiting Warriors will host a Tailgate Party at Lincoln Financial Field, Parking Lot M-N. Fans and patrons can stop by, learn more about Suiting Warriors, and donate to help support the cause – all while celebrating our veterans at this time-honored tradition.

Tickets for all events are available by clicking here.

The Suiting Warriors SuitUP^ Program travels up and down the East Coast with its stylists and works with those who are preparing for job fairs, interviews, or networking events and looking for daily career wear and formal attire. Suiting Warriors has served more than 5,000 veterans and their spouses since 2012.

Registration for SuitUP^ is required. Appointments will be estimated one hour and will include an individual wardrobe consultation about an individual’s professional clothing needs. For those interested, be prepared to show your DD214 and/or Veteran I.D. or Military Spouse approved information.

By helping veterans establish a professional appearance, Suiting Warriors is fulfilling its vision to enhance the quality of life of veterans. The goal is to create for them a seamless transition from the military into gainful employment in the civilian workforce without breaking the bank.
