Check Out Which ‘Cities’ in Chester County Are Among the 150 Safest in America

Five “cities” in Chester County are among the 150 safest in the nation, according to a new analysis released by Security Baron.

The list was compiled using crime data from the FBI. The safest cities were calculated in terms of violence and property crimes, populations, and median incomes, among other factors.

East Marlborough Township ranked highest in Chester County with a 90.52 Safety Score. The town with a population of 7,310 is in the top 10 percentile in the country with no violent crimes per 1,000 population and just 2.19 property crimes.

East Vincent Township with its 89.97 Safety Score is next on the list. The 7,065-population town recorded 0.14 violent crimes and 3.26 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

Meanwhile, East Coventry Township, with a population of 6,738, follows with an 89.75 Safety Score and 0.3 violent and 3.41 property crimes. Willistown Township is just behind with an 89.73 Safety Score. The town with a population of 10,965 recorded no violent crimes and 4.1 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

The list is rounded out by 5,172-resident West Vincent Township with a Safety Score of 89.43 and 0.19 violent and 4.06 property crimes.
