There’s amazing innovation happening in and around Philadelphia, yet it is often overlooked in favor of other East Coast cities.

To show that Philadelphia is a great place to live, work, and play, as well as a city teeming with opportunity, Independence Blue Cross is playing a critical role as a key sponsor of the B.PHL Fest, a three-day festival designed to build Philly’s reputation as the most innovative city on the East Coast.

B.PHL will be held from Tuesday, Oct. 15 to Thursday, Oct. 17 and will feature workshops and exhibits focused on arts and culture, science, business, social impact, healthcare, and more. The festival aims to highlight Philadelphia as a place of choice for those looking to inspire new ideas, make connections, and ignite novel ways of doing things.

Independence Blue Cross is the leading health insurance organization in southeastern Pennsylvania. With its affiliates, it serves nearly 8 million people nationwide. For more than 80 years, it has been enhancing the health and well-being of the people and communities it serves by:

  • delivering innovative and competitively priced healthcare products and services
  • pioneering new ways to reward doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated, quality care
  • supporting programs and events that promote wellness

Independence Blue Cross will host several events throughout the jam-packed festival at its headquarters, located at 1901 Market Street. Attendees will be face-to-face with the city’s leading thinkers and will have unparalleled access to the visionary leaders shaping the future of Philadelphia.
