Eagleview Town Center has teamed up with Fox Chase Cancer Center and local wellness-focused small businesses to bring Paws for the Cause & Wellness Fair to Eagleview Town Center.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 8 AM-12 PM, is dedicated to community, wellness, philanthropy, and fun. The day will consist of a dog walk, a small business wellness fair, and multiple raffle drawings.

Hankin Group and West Pharmaceutical Services, sponsors for this new event, hope to create a gathering place for community members to share wellness expertise and to enjoy Eagleview Town Center.

“Eagleview Town Center is the perfect place to gather and talk about wellness,” said Emily Parkins, Marketing Manager for Hankin Group. “We want people to not only come to Town Center to experience all our great events and restaurants, but also to learn and meet others that promote wellness in the community. This will be a great place for people of all ages to connect, learn, and get active.”

The Wellness Fair portion of the event will feature local small businesses showcasing their specialties, from healthy eating to massage therapy. Additionally, fitness-oriented business will offer class demonstrations for attendees to participate in at no cost.

Thanks to donations from the small business participants and event sponsors, the day will end with more than 10 raffle drawings. This event will have something for everyone – especially animal lovers.

Registration for the Paws for the Cause Dog Walk will begin at 8 AM on Saturday. The dog walk will benefit Fox Chase Cancer Center, part of Temple University Health System.

The decision to involve Fox Chase in this event stems from West Pharma’s outstanding relationship with the organization.

“West’s annual Fox Chase Campaign has been a highlight of our West without Borders employee-led fundraising effort,” said Annette Favorite, West’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are extremely proud of our team members’ ongoing commitment to Fox Chase Cancer Center.”
