In order for you to be more successful, you must learn to do what the winners and the champions do to achieve that high level of performance and model that same behavior. The personal leadership mastery process has identified those critical success factors and have succinctly put them into a process and a plan of action intended to turn theory into positive attitudes and automatic action.
Once you internalize those positive attitudes and habits, you can use them to achieve whatever measure of success in personal leadership you wish to reach. In the process, you will reacquire your childhood abilities to visualize, to imagine, and to fantasize, but you will also learn to temper those abilities with maturity, with judgment, and with experience.
You will begin to create your personal “Plan of Action” to help you learn to analyze and identify your most important goals, to classify and prioritize them, and to list them on long- or short-range goals forms so that you may begin an active plan to achieve those goals. As you develop your working plan, you will also be crystallizing and developing your own system of values so that you will understand what is worth giving your best efforts to accomplish.
The “Plan of Action” volume is a working companion and blueprint for your life, designed to help you with those essential elements of leadership, self-confidence, self-motivation, and goal-setting that can bring you to the highest level of success.
Today’s leaders need to “make it personal” because you cannot become who you need to become by remaining who you are. All change is internal and starts with you.
The evidence that organizations today are in real trouble is fully upon us. If you do not serve your customers, employees, and stakeholders better in the future, you won’t have to worry about the business because another company that is developing its leadership bench will take all of your business away from you.
