Denise Lindsay, Meridian Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, was recently honored by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one its CFOs of the Year.

At Meridian, Lindsay, who has more than 25 years of experience in bank financial management, is responsible for asset-liability management, treasury, financial reporting, and budgeting. She also oversees compliance and risk management at the Malvern-based bank.

“It was very exciting to work with (Meridian Bank CEO) Chris Annas and the rest of the board to start the bank in 2004,” said Lindsay. “Big milestones such as our recent IPO and the bank’s growth to $1 billion in assets have been particularly rewarding. I look forward to Meridian’s continued prominence in the Philadelphia metro region.”

Before joining Meridian, Lindsay was the Vice President and Controller of DNB First, which was recently acquired by S&T Bank. Prior to that, she was a Senior Accountant for KPMG, LLP.

Lindsay serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Upper Main Line YMCA and recently received its Volunteer of the Year Award for Mission Advancement. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Financial Managers Society and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants‎.
