Child Guidance Resource Centers has been selected as a beneficiary of the GIANT Bags 4 My Cause Program for September at the Quarry Center store in Havertown.

CGRC will receive a $1 donation every time a $2.50 reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bag is purchased at the store in September, unless otherwise directed by the customer, through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“Each dollar you give will be used to help the 9,600 children and families we serve annually who benefit from our 24 programs,” said Tiiu Lutter, CGRC’s Director of Communications and Resource Department.

The goal of the reusable bag program is to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

“Mental health and wellness programs are vital to the well-being of not just our children, but whole communities,” Lutter said. “We are so excited to be chosen by GIANT as partners in this critical work.”

CGRC is a nonprofit based in Havertown with other facilities in the region. Founded in 1956, it has been providing mental healthcare services to children and families who struggle with autism, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, depression, developmental disabilities, trauma, and truancy.

Child Guidance provides life-changing therapies and also teaches life skills for children and parents to succeed.
