Founded in 1920, Immaculata University was the first Catholic college for women in the Philadelphia area. Now co-ed, it offers more than 100 graduate and undergraduate programs and significant service opportunities for its students.

Academic Advisor

This position advises students in the areas of program requirements and the transfer of credit from other institutions; assists with the preparation and implementation of new student orientation sessions; and assists with retention efforts for current and stop-out students.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and three to five years of experience in higher education; experience working with adult/non-traditional students; knowledge of academic programs offered and admission requirements; and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Assistant Director of Graduate Student Services

This position assists with recruitment, admission, and registration activities for graduate students; supports the effective operation of the offsite programs within the College of Graduate Studies; and manages offsite program operations and support, including information sessions.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in a relevant discipline; a minimum of two years of experience working in a higher education environment; and excellent communications skills with a keen eye for detail.

Admissions Counselor, College of Undergraduate Studies

This position effectively communicates with prospective students and their families in person and electronically; assists in the planning of on- and off-campus recruitment and retention events; and counsels prospective students on the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarships.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and adequate knowledge of current education practices in higher education and recruitment and admissions trends; knowledgeable of academic programs and admission requirements; and strong communication and presentation skills.
