Setting the Record Straight: VISTA Today Removes Story

On Tuesday morning, VISTA Today published a story – entitled “At Forefront of Prison Reform, Chester County to Test More Progressive System Used Overseas – that was a summary of an article that ran on PhillyVoice.

VISTA Today was soon informed that the story incorrectly identified Chester County Prison as testing a new kind of prison unit, one focused on a prisoner-first approach that the state hopes can help reform its prison system.

The State Correctional Institution in Chester (in Delaware County) is the prison that will be piloting these reforms.

VISTA Today has removed its story and apologizes for the error.
