Lamb McErlane Partner Appointed to Oldest of State Supreme Court’s Rules Committees

Maureen M. McBride, a Partner and Executive Committee member at Lamb McErlane in West Chester, has been appointed as a member of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Civil Procedural Rules Committee.

The five-year term commences July 1.

The Civil Procedural Rules Committee was established by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1937. It is the oldest of the Supreme Court’s rules committees. The committee assists the Supreme Court in the preparation, revision, publication, and administration of the rules of civil procedure.

At Lamb McErlane, McBride is co-chair of the Appellate Department and a member of the Litigation Department and the firm’s Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice on appellate law and commercial litigation in state and federal courts and provides counseling and advice to a wide array of corporate clients and individuals.

She also serves as a Board Member of the Friends Association for the Care and Protection of Children, a nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless or near homeless families in Chester County.

McBride is a graduate of King’s College and Villanova University School of Law.
