Chester County is home to 11 of the 30 Best Places to Buy a Home in Greater Philadelphia, according to recently published analysis from Niche.com, writes Clara Lefton for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Niche.com used objective criteria to compile its rankings, measuring key factors of a location’s housing market. These include home values, taxes, crime rates, and quality of schools.

Chesterbrook, where the median home value is $318,400, ranked highest at No. 2, followed by Devon, where the median home value is $558,100, at No. 3.

Birmingham Township is next at No. 7, followed by Charlestown Township at No. 10.

Also, Upper Uwchlan Township placed 13th, Pocopson Township 17th, and East Whiteland Township 18th.

The list is rounded out with Lionville at No. 24, East Pikeland Township at No. 27, West Bradford Township at No. 28, and Berwyn at No. 30.
