The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry hosted its annual State of the County Breakfast – featuring County Commissioners Michelle Kichline, Kathi Cozzone, and Terence Farrell – on Tuesday at the Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester.
“This is a really special place,” CCCBI President Guy Ciarrocchi said of Chester County. “We should never take it for granted. It is the result of hard work. It is the result of planning. It is the result of teamwork.
“We come together today to make sure that we don’t take (our success) for granted, think a little bit about how we got here, and think about the future. How do we get from here to where we need to be? How do we make sure that – in 2030, in 2040, in 2050 – our children and grandchildren will still look at Chester County as the envy of the region, the envy of the state, and one of the best places in the nation to live?”
