Internal Audit Manager
This position conducts required audits of all district courts, row offices, and other county government entities; develops and conducts performance and effectiveness audit programs; and assists in the hiring and training of new staff auditors.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA; CPA, CIA, and/or CFE certification; a minimum of seven years of internal audit experience and a minimum of three years of management experience; and strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Real Estate Appraiser II
This position performs comprehensive assessments of the value of residential and light commercial/industrial properties, as well as developments and subdivisions, in an assigned geographical area, so all property in the county is listed and assessed.
The ideal candidate will possess two to three years of related experience; current CPE certification or the ability to obtain CPE certification; and strong customer service and computer skills.

Planner II
This position provides professional consulting services to local municipalities in implementing the county’s long-range plan; prepares comprehensive plans and ordinances; analyzes quantitative data and authors technical reports; and authors and delivers presentations and creates plan graphics.
The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in planning, geography, landscape architecture, or a related discipline; excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ESRI ArcGIS products; and an understanding of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
