Elverson’s Brandywine Branch Distillers to Build on ‘Fantastic Year’ with Further Expansion
Brandywine Branch Distillers in Elverson is planning to build upon its success this year with further expansion in Pennsylvania and nationwide, writes Kenneth Hilario for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The distillery’s business took off after it started producing gin in April 2016. A few months later, it opened a full-service bistro, and then started selling commercially.
After national media outlets like The New York Times shone a light on its portfolio later that year, a fruitful 2017 ensued. Brandywine continued expanding by breaking into the Delaware market. Its products are also sold at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores across the Philadelphia region.
Now, distribution has expanded to other states, including New Jersey, Michigan, and Florida. Brandywine has also partnered with Majestic Wine and Spirits as its Pennsylvania distributor.
“2018 has been a fantastic year in terms of setting us up for success in 2019 and beyond,” said CFO and co-founder Don Avellino.
