Five Chester County ZIP Codes are among the 50 wealthiest in Greater Philadelphia, and Chester Springs is in the Top Five, writes Alison Burdo for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

American City Business Journals analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau to determine which ZIP Codes in the region are the wealthiest based on more than a half-dozen factors. These include per capita income, median value of owner-occupied homes, and the number of adults with a bachelor’s degree.

The evaluation only took into account areas with a minimum of 2,000 residents and a complete 2016 American Community Survey.

Chester Springs checked in at No. 5 with a median household income of $154,808.

Next is Berwyn at No. 22 with $119,003 in median household income, closely followed by Landenberg at No. 23 with $118,858.

Malvern placed 30th with a household income of $110,323, while Devon was 36th with $105,689.

The wealthiest ZIP Code in Greater Philadelphia is Gladwyne with a median household income of $193,152.
