Stein Realty Group to Host Harvest Party in Chester Springs to Benefit Unite for HER

By

Beth and C.J. Stein of the Stein Realty Group, a team of Keller Williams realtors, will host their second annual Harvest Party on Sunday, Oct. 14 at Gardner’s Landscape and Nursery in Chester Springs from 12-4 PM.

The Harvest Party will benefit Unite for HER, a nonprofit based in West Chester that provides support, services, and other resources for local women diagnosed with breast cancer. The event will feature live music, food from Jimmy’s BBQ in Malvern and Hill’s Seafood in Exton, free beer and wine, and fun for all ages.

Last year’s Harvest Party raised more than $10,000 for Unite for HER. With a high turnout expected this year, Beth Stein thought it was best to move the event to a larger location. Gardner’s was an optimal choice, since it was the first place Beth stopped in when she and C.J. first moved to Chester Springs more than 20 years ago.

“The Chester County Barn is synonymous with the history and charm of our surroundings,” said Gardner’s, which generously offered its venue for the event. “It represents the heritage of this enchanting, bucolic area. When our Barn was built, people were traveling by horseback or wagon over the covered bridges to their farms.”

The Stein Realty Group hopes to raise another $10,000 for Unite for HER. The nonprofit introduces women diagnosed with breast cancer to therapies that have been proven to alleviate the devastating physical side effects and emotional challenges that arise from breast cancer treatment, like acupuncture, massage therapy, yoga/meditation, exercise programs, nutrition services, Reiki, and professional counseling.

The Harvest Party will feature a silent auction, 50/50, and musical performances from Old Fangled, Wright and Delone, and solo artist Ally Schneeman. There will also be face painting, sand art, balloon animals, lawn games, and more.

A number of local businesses have come together to ensure the event is a success. Patrycja Swan of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Exton cooked hundreds of Bundtinis for the dessert table, Clemens Food Group in Hatfield donated hot dogs, and Arnold Breads donated the hot dog buns.

Chris Yard of State Farm Insurance will host a drink station and Rose Stancato of Residential Mortgage Services will serve the wine.

Volunteers from the National Honor Society of the Downingtown School District, Unite for HER, and AmeriKids will be on hand to greet customers throughout the day.
