The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world’s largest nonprofit health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer, has announced that, for the third year, West Pharmaceutical Services in Exton has joined LLS’s Light The Night as the Celebration & Community Presenting Sponsor.

The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 13 at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne.

Light The Night is a series of powerful and unique fundraising campaigns for LLS. They bring together families, co-workers, and communities walking with illuminated lanterns to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the disease and to shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments funding of research to find blood cancer cures.

Light The Night brings light to the darkness of cancer through 140 inspirational evening walks across the U.S. and Canada each fall. Approximately one million people join together carrying illuminated lanterns to take steps to end cancer – white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.

West Pharmaceutical Services has been a longtime partner of LLS’s Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. Since 2016, West has given more than $450,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
