Chester County Home to Seven of Top 50 School Districts with Best Teachers in Philadelphia Area

Chester County is home to seven of the Top 50 school districts with the best teachers in the Philadelphia area, writes Clara Lefton for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Niche.com recently published its 2019 Districts with the Best Teachers in the Philadelphia Area. It based its ranking on student and parent teacher ratings, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, student-teacher ratio, and the Niche Academics Grade for the district.

Tredyffrin-Easttown topped the list at No. 1. Unionville-Chadds Ford checked in at No. 9, while Great Valley placed 16th.

Phoenixville Area ranked 28th, followed by West Chester Area at No. 30.

The Kennett Consolidated School District, at No. 32, and Owen J. Roberts, at No. 44, rounded out Chester County’s entries in the Top 50.
