Home of the Sparrow – an Exton-based nonprofit with the mission to help women facing homelessness achieve long-term stability – believes that all women and children in our community should have safe and stable homes.

Education is a critical building block for a bright future, and therefore, Home of the Sparrow wants all children to have what they need to succeed in school, particularly supplies and adequate clothing.

Earlier this month, the children in Home of the Sparrow’s programs received the supplies they needed for a successful school year.

Home of the Sparrow’s Back-to-School program lifts a great amount of stress from mothers. All 84 children in need received a new backpack, quality school supplies for one year, clothes, and age-appropriate toys.

The families in Home of the Sparrow’s programs live on extremely tight budgets and work hard to be self-sufficient. Because of that, the new school year can be very stressful financially. Home of the Sparrow provides a safety net and housing support. With its help, mothers can focus on building better lives for themselves and their children.
