Stephanie Nolan Deviney, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Exton office, has been selected as the firm’s 2017-2018 Mentor of the Year.

Deviney was nominated by her mentee, Elizabeth G. Hodgson, an associate Deviney has formally mentored for the past two years.

Deviney encouraged Hodgson to pursue demanding assignments that pushed her beyond her comfort zone and, according to Hodgson, helped her grow from a substantive skill standpoint and develop confidence and leadership skills.

By way of Deviney’s guidance and encouragement, Hodgson successfully argued a petition in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, defended a deposition in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and prepared for a trial where she argued the Motions in Limine at the pre-trial conference.

Deviney has more than 20 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She earned her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State and her B.A. from the University of Richmond.
