A new podcast – “Successfully Screwed” – launched by Sara Rosenberg and Ashley Owens at HeadRoom in Wayne explores how to best learn from your career mistakes, writes Katie Kohler for Main Line Today.

During the weekly, half-hour episodes, guests discuss the mistakes and bad decisions they made during their careers and what they have learned from them. The podcast was Owens’s brainchild, but she emphasized that the execution is Rosenberg’s, while she focuses just on editing.

The two didn’t need much time to turn their idea into reality.

“Within a week, Sara had the name of the website, the documentation, the images, the content, and the social media,” said Owens.

They realize that focusing on work-related failures is not a typical approach for motivational podcasts, but they believe it provides a new perspective.

“Selfishly, I get to learn directly from my guests,” said Owens. “It’s a way for me to take the advice and apply it to my business.”
