After November’s fire, residents of Barclay Friends Senior Living in West Chester will see their home rebuilt and expanded over the next two years, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

In April, residents began to move back into the undamaged part of the facility. The rest is in the planning stages of a rebuilding process that will also add 12 units to the structure.

The former building had 48 beds and covered 38,000 square feet, while the new, two-story building with a basement will cover 61,000 square feet with 60 beds.

“I’m excited to know that we will be offering a beautiful living space and providing our residents with dignity and the kind of space that they deserve,” said Faith Woodward, director of marketing and admissions.
