You won’t find a more civic-minded business in Chester County than Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning.

Bill Ronayne created the business in 1993, and it didn’t take long for him to weave it into the fabric of this great county. Brandywine Valley’s stellar reputation in a rapidly-changing, highly-competitive industry precedes itself, due not only to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service but also to its unwavering commitment to community and integrity.

“It’s about getting out there and building relationships in the community, and letting others know that you support these worthy causes,” said Ronayne, a graduate of Henderson High School who has lived within a five-mile radius in West Chester his entire life. “Chester County is a wonderful place to live and work, and it’s been very good to me.”

Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning is again the presenting sponsor of the Challenge for Cancer Bike Tour, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sunday, June 24. It’s one of a number of events throughout the year that Ronayne’s company supports.

With Ronayne having survived prostate cancer, the Bike Tour admittedly holds a special place in his heart, as the funds it raises stay in Chester County to benefit The Abramson Cancer Center at Chester County Hospital, as well as Neighborhood Health.

“That’s one of the things we’re most proud of, that the money will help our family, friends, and neighbors in the community,” said Ronayne. “The staff at Chester County Hospital was outstanding when I was getting my treatments.”
