The Main Line Chamber of Commerce has named Pegasus Technologies – a Kennett Square-based company, with additional offices in Media and Wayne, that provides IT services for companies that don’t have their own internal IT department – its 2018 Small Business of the Year.
Pegasus will be honored at the chamber’s Celebration of Business Leadership Luncheon on Thursday at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern.
“I cannot praise enough the hard work and complete dedication the team here at Pegasus puts in day after day,” said CEO Matthew Tucker. “It is their focus and commitment to delivering an industry-leading client experience that wins awards like this.
“Hats off to all of them. They should be extremely proud of their accomplishments here at Pegasus, as there is no challenge they do not conquer.”
Pegasus was founded in 2003 as an enterprise security consulting company specializing in multi-factor authentication and identity management. It eventually pivoted, becoming a Managed Services Provider (MSP), and experienced tremendous growth.
Through the use of automation, cloud services, and virtualization, Pegasus gives small businesses a full-service, IT-department experience at a fraction of the cost of staffing true internal employees. It makes its clients more efficient, which, in turn, makes those clients more competitive in their own industries.
Technology is a fast-moving field that continues to accelerate. Pegasus provides long-term, comprehensive technology solutions by taking problems and examining them from every angle – technical, economic, and strategic – before presenting its clients with a solid, cost-effective solution.
Every day, Pegasus evaluates its own systems and procedures to develop better ways to serve its clients. By constantly evolving and by employing only the best technicians, Pegasus has strengthened its business and the business of its clients.
