Chester County Democrats, Republicans Choose Leaders Ahead of November’s Midterm Elections
Chester County Democrats and Chester County Republicans have chosen their respective leaders ahead of November’s midterm elections, writes Michael Rellahan for The Pottstown Mercury.
Members of the Chester County Democratic Committee elected Dick Bingham, a retired DuPont chemist, to succeed Chairman Brian McGinnis at the committee’s reorganization convention at Stetson Middle School in Westtown.
Bingham, from East Marlborough Township, heads a regional group of Democrats in the Kennett Square area. He laid out his vision in his nominating speech.
“Our goal is to help every one of our 228 precincts become a voter turnout powerhouse,” he said.
